Domestic FX in Japan
Domestic Japanese FX brokers are under Japanese financial rules. For individual OTC FX, Japan has investor protection rules around margin and leverage. Domestic FX tax treatment is commonly explained as separate taxation for qualifying futures-related miscellaneous income. Loss handling and declaration forms have specific rules.
Overseas FX
Overseas FX may offer 500x or 1000x leverage, bonuses, Gold micro accounts and EA-friendly conditions. This is why many traders are attracted. But overseas FX may not have the same Japanese investor protection, and tax treatment can differ. Records become more important: trade report, deposit, withdrawal, bonus, account currency and JPY conversion.
Tax rule mindset
This site does not give personal tax advice. Safe message: FX profit may need tax return depending on amount and situation. Domestic FX and overseas FX can be treated differently. Overseas FX often requires extra care because it may be general miscellaneous income rather than the same category as domestic FX. Ask tax office or tax accountant when unsure.
Visa and income activity
Self-funded trading and paid activity are different. If you run paid signals, manage other people's money, sell EA, receive IB/affiliate reward, or operate paid community, it can become business or reward activity. Working visa people should check qualification/permission when activity is outside their status. Do not give illegal investment advice.
Correct site language
Use balanced words: opportunity, education, high risk, records, tax confirmation, no guarantee. Avoid words like guaranteed profit, safe income, no loss, visa no problem 100%.
